The Harrison Human Resources team has been selected for their diversity and depth of experience. All of the team have significant experience within organisations leading their teams and functions; ensuring they deliver value to stakeholders and the business, and they have the qualifications to back it up.
Our team ranges in expertise from generalist HR and employee relations to recruitment and onboarding, workplace health and safety, organisational development, change management, leadership and career coaching. This means we have the capacity, capability and flexibility to meet the varying and changing needs of businesses.
Harrison Human Resources is not your usual consulting firm – in fact we would prefer not to call ourselves “consultants” – because not only do we provide advice as trusted advisors to our clients, but we go the step further by helping our clients implement the strategies in their organisation and providing ongoing support.

Founder and Managing Director
Claire Harrison is the Founder and Managing Director of Harrison Human Resources, a flourishing HR consulting business that sprouted in 2009 from Claire’s passionate belief that inspiring leaders and superstar employees are the key success factor to any business. With over 20 years’ experience, Claire has worked as a HR Director of multi-national organisations, as a Non-Executive Board Director, and a small business owner. Claire’s corporate career includes working with companies such as BHP, Westpac, Fonterra and Mayne Nickless. Claire’s last corporate position was as the National HR Manager of ABC Learning, which employed 15,000 people and Claire managed a team of 50 people across HR and payroll.

Nea is a highly experienced HR and Recruitment Consultant. Her loyalty and dedication to providing superior client service, together with her multi-faceted experience, makes her an asset to Harrison Human Resources and our clients. Nea has a professional and respectful approach and takes pride in her ability to build relationships with clients and our team. Nea has varied experience across a range of industries including banking and finance, management consulting, recruitment and property valuation, and has worked for small, family-owned companies to global organisations in Brisbane, Sydney and London.

An experienced human resources practitioner, Allana takes a commercial view on providing human resources that focus on corporate culture and people development. Allana succeeds through working with senior leaders to increase people engagement, such as leadership and team development and coaching. Allana has over 20 years’ experience working with business owners and management teams at both strategic and operational levels.

Senior HR Consultant
Jo Pennock has 15 years of HR experience across various aspects of Human Resources in multiple industries including FMCG, Chemicals, Retail and Education. She has recently returned from the United Kingdom where she gained vast experience in mentoring and coaching, policy creation, performance management, legislation/award interpretation (in Australia, the UK, Ireland and Europe) and accumulated knowledge of global best practice. Jo has extensive experience with manufacturing sites. She has a proven ability to build relationships and credibility quickly and has experience working with all levels of organisations. She believes in and delivers pragmatic, bespoke HR solutions that change along with the organisation.

Nora is a human resources generalist with over 15 years’ experience working in both national and international businesses. Nora strives to provide expert professional advice, build genuine and trusting relationships with stakeholders, and assist management and employees to embrace change and build great workplace culture. Nora has worked in both professional services and heavy industries, with a strong focus on building human resources departments to meet the needs of a growing business. This has included ensuring compliance, the development of policies and procedures, recruitment, workplace relations, performance management, enterprise agreement negotiations, employee engagement and retention. Nora has worked across many industries including manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, banking and finance.

Jill is a senior human resources generalist, with over 20 years’ experience gained across several industries including funds management, professional services, IT and property. Her business partnering skills include but are not limited to: setting up of HR systems, policies and procedures suitable to your business size and industry; advice and guidance to executives on a range of issues including HR strategy and organisational design, coaching of managers, talent acquisition and retention and performance management. Jill is a strong and caring communicator and will find solutions to your HR issues that are beneficial, manageable and sustainable for your business.
